Nokia Campaign

 We often find that the best cast is a self-selecting crew, so when Nokia came to us to find fresh, talented stars to embody “creative communication” for their Fashion Live campaign, we went straight to the source. Open calls at Parson’s, breakdance troupes in Brooklyn, and street casting in New York’s Lower East Side gave us a crew of models who knew just what to do in front of Christophe Kutner’s lens. Double injected the talent into real sets, including a design studio, a Koreatown karaoke joint (which we took over for six hours), the stage at McCarren Park Pool—evencreating an impromptu installation at the Art Director's Club gallery—and let the action unfold naturally. Nokia’s concept of “connecting people” was completely blown away by the organic, documental style—not to mention that everyone had a blast.
