VERY ELLE

The concept for Very ELLE (Elle’s new biannual art-book) was simple enough: Amanda and Amber, best friends, photographer and muse. The very lo-fi and intimate look at Amber Valetta in the season’s lacy, diaphanous underpinnings was heightened by photographer Amanda De Cadenet’s remarkable sensitivity, herself a former actress. Double selected this epic home in the Hollywood Hills to energize the Valley of the Dolls references, heightening the intimacy and engagement of this washed-out, searing fashion spread.
